1. Recognize it and quickly deal with it.
2. Talk it out with a friend.
3. Escape for a while.
4. Work off your anger.
5. Do something for others.
6. Take one thing at a time/set priorities.
7. Shun the "superwoman or man" urge.
8. Be willing to say "I won't--say NO!"
9. A good scream, cry, or the utterance of a profound "oath".
10. Change your routine and bury your past.
11. Develop a hobby or pastime (Caution: avoid working so hard at playing that it no longer is play but becomes painful.)
12. Learn to laugh and to play.
13. Know whose problem it is and don't own the problems that aren't yours.
14. Don't bury into what "I ought to do" but employ what "I can do".
15. Develop a "supportive group" or a particular support individual.
16. Set reasonable goals for yourself that are attainable.
17. Learn to relax.
18. Eat Properly
19. Get enough exercise and rest.
20. Learn stress-reducing behaviors..ie, deep breathing, relaxation techniques, etc.
